Designed by Perkins&Will, The Nest is a thoughtfully planned early childhood education center in Los Angeles that expands access to high-quality early childhood education through a nurturing, play-based learning environment.

Zandur Sustain™ cork-rubber flooring was selected to complement the project's focus on comfort, durability, and healthy interior materials. Combining rapidly renewable cork with high-performance nitrile rubber, Sustain provides a resilient, low-maintenance surface well suited for active learning environments, while supporting the warmth and welcoming character that defines The Nest. The result is a space designed to serve children, educators, and families for years to come.
